An adorable trio of girls came to spend some time at my house a few weeks ago. Two older sisters, completely in love with their new baby sister. So much so that when I sat them next to Baby Girl, all I had to do was keep the camera going while they showered her with kisses and sister love. So sweet.
These lucky girls also happen to have an adoring Grandma. I teased Grandma that her sweet granddaughter MUST have discovered my political leanings when she started making these faces ;) I love a perfect newborn picture, but I almost like capturing these sweet, imperfect newborn expressions more because any new parent knows what an important part of those first few weeks they are. Newborn faces constantly change and move as they experience being in the world for the first time, I always loved watching my daughters make their silly faces and like to help parents have documentation of that as well :)
