I read this quote a few weeks ago. And it stuck with me. With everything that happens in this world, it can be easy to get discouraged. And that's why when individuals step up, their actions should be shared. And spread. And supported.
When I wrote to 31 Bits and Everything is Jake about wanting to help Antioch Adoption, a local adoption agency in our city, there was no hesitation in their response.
The answer was 'Yes. We will help.'
These are not huge corporations with lots of extra money laying around, or a P.R. person telling them who to help. They are small businesses and it's a huge deal to help someone out because they themselves are just starting out. But they did. And these are the people that are making the difference every day. A little at a time. Because they chose to step up and help out, lives will be made better...people they have never met and will never meet will benefit by their willingness to help.
